The Modesto Roadsters are on the road in Oakland tonight before returning to Modern Woodmen Field this weekend for a three-game homestand against Long Beach Coast.
The Roadsters enter the week 26-16 overall, 17-7 at home, and sitting near the top of the Pioneer League standings. They are also coming off a holiday weekend series win over Oakland that ended with a 20-4 Sunday statement at Modern Woodmen Field.
This team has been one of the loudest offenses in the league all season. Through 42 games, Modesto is hitting .307 as a team with 366 runs, 463 hits, 92 doubles, 58 home runs, and 94 stolen bases.
Now the boys come back home for a weekend built for Modesto.
Friday, July 10: Full Throttle Finale
The weekend opens Friday night with the Full Throttle Finale.
Modesto takes on Long Beach Coast at 7:11 PM, followed by huge fireworks after the game. It is Roadsters baseball with a sky-shaking finish, and fans are encouraged to get to the ballpark early for one of the biggest nights of the homestand.
Saturday, July 11: Robb Nen Bobblehead Giveaway
Saturday brings another collectible giveaway to Modern Woodmen Field.
The Roadsters will host the Robb Nen Bobblehead Giveaway, presented by Moose Credit Union, as Modesto continues to celebrate baseball legends and give fans something special to take home.
Saturday is also Rockit Giveaway Saturday, with a chance to win a guitar, plus Girls Smash Guitars performing live on the field after the game.
First pitch is set for 5:35 PM.
Sunday, July 12: Cruiser’s Cash Drop
Sunday closes the homestand with one of the wildest promotions of the season.
Cruiser’s Cash Drop is coming to Modern Woodmen Field, with cash dropping from a helicopter after the game.
Sunday is also Family Sunday, featuring pre-game autographs, Bark in the Park, and kids running the bases after the game.
First pitch is set for 11:00 AM.
